Website analytics & your privacy

We measure how people use lafoodservice.com so we can see which pages help customers and which don't. This page explains what our own analytics records.

Analytics on this browser: Checking…

What we record

  • The pages you view, in order, with the time each page was open and visible.
  • How you arrived: the referring website, or the campaign tags on the link you followed.
  • Your approximate country, worked out from your IP address when a visit starts. The IP address itself is not stored.
  • Device type, browser and operating system family (e.g. “mobile, Safari, iOS”), and screen size.
  • That certain actions happened — opening or submitting the wholesale pricing form, adding to cart, placing an order, booking a call — without the details you typed.

What we don't record

  • Anything you type into forms, keystrokes, mouse movements, or recordings of your screen.
  • Passwords or payment details.
  • Your precise location — country only.
  • Browser fingerprints or tracking across other websites.

How it works

Your browser keeps a random identifier in local storage so we can tell a returning visit from a new one. It is not linked to your name or email and is not shared with anyone. The data goes only to our own server. This is pseudonymous data, not anonymous data, so we treat it as personal information.

How long we keep it

Page-by-page records are deleted after 90 days. Per-visit summaries (pages viewed, time on site, how you arrived) are deleted after about 13 months.

Your choices

Use the button above to opt out. Opting out stops collection on this browser and deletes what we have recorded under its identifier. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, our analytics stays off automatically.

This page covers our own analytics only. The site also uses Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, which Google operates under its own policies.
